18ft Ranger 374V

Post by d75bender »

It's time to upgrade to a larger boat and it's time to let my baby go. She's been great to me but it's time for something a bit bigger. I've owned her for 6 years, had the oil changed and tune ups done yearly along with cylinders psi's checked every year since I've owned her. When I bought her she just had the lower unit replaced so it's 6 years old and the upper portion was also just rebuilt. I've done so many upgrades to her to get her tournament ready but I've realized recently fishing with 2 people with a full tournament load she gets really cramped. Plus my 7' rods will not fit in the rod locker, it sounds petty but it bugs me and needing to keep my rods on the deck with a 2nd person on board with all their gear made me realize I need something bigger. Had recent tune up with cylinders checked aprox 6 months ago. I still have the paperwork and I can give you the name of my mechanic to see what he thinks of the boat. He's been asking to buy her ever since I had her but last time I took her in for service he mentioned he bought a different boat. The boat came with a 27p prop and I got her to 64mph by myself with all my gear. However, I didn't like the way she rode with that pitch and switched to a 23p SS prop and she still does 59mph on GPS. I have video and a youtube channel with many
recent trips for verification. Will take out serious buyers to Folsom for an hour or two of fishing/driving.

8500$ pretty firm.

Newer Bass Pro Shops jack on the tongue
Wheel bearings packed every 6 months

Carpet is original and is in pretty decent condition. There is 1 tear on the bench seat so I guess upholstery could be needed if it bugs you. See pictures.

Before I bought her, This boat was kept in a garage for 15 years covered due to the previous owner fishing tournaments from his partners boat but was taken out once a month to drive it, so thats part of the reason why the carpet looks as good as it does for being original. For the age this boat is in great condition.
