Ultrex Quest worth the money?
Re: Ultrex Quest worth the money?
Depends on what's wrong with your Ultrex. Do you know whats broken? Many of the parts are affordable for your current motor and pretty easy to install. I recently rebuilt the lower on mine for about $130 in parts. People rave about the whole brushless motor deal but brushes are cheap.

Jay repaired one of my trolling motors decades ago when he was in Fremont. Good guy and he runs a first rate business

When it comes to Minn Kota, Jay's the man. His understanding of these motors and his ability to speak in lay mans terms translates to good times.

+ 1 on Jay. He has even talked me through a repair over the phone without spending a dime.
