Berryessa Scoping my way to the podium while catching spotted bass, largemouth, and smallmouth

Post by WB Staff »

No entry fee Championship on Lake Berryessa. Scoping my way to the podium while catching spotted bass, largemouth, and smallmouth. Most of the fish were 30-50ft deep and it was all about the cheater box on this one. Strolling a 5" Zman Scented Jerk Shadz on a 3/16oz Zman Finesse Eyez Jighead, 1/2oz Jackall Deracoup Tail Spinner, and a Megabass Vibration X Dyna Response Blade Bait accounted for most of my fish.

Save the scoping celebration for a kayak site.

I don't think the "type of site" matters anymore when it comes to LiveScope. The technology is here, and at use in all levels of competition. FFS is, and has been the hot topic on every fishing site regardless of the vessel type or even the species that the site is dedicated to. Until the laws change that prohibit it's use you basically have to have it if you want to compete in 90% of the tournaments out there. Not really a fact that I like, or agree with, but currently it is what it is.
