Whatever Bobby Barrack tells me to get, lol.
Otherwise I stick to white, black, and green. The bold colors for overcast and dingy water, then green for clear skies and clearer water.

Re: Snag Proof Lures wants to know...
I try to keep my Frog colors simple. If I am fishing a matted vegetation in or next to tidal current such as the cheese hydrilla, mil foil, or duckweed out the Delta, I prefer the darker color frogs such as in the Black Moss, Vapor, Duckling, New Bullfrog, Hot Mess, and Bluegill. When I am fishing in or around the Tulle patches, in around primrose or open water spots I prefer to throw colors in the white such as Alabaster, Grey Ghost and Bluegill. If the fish are on primarily feeding on bluegill, I will throw frog colors that will relate to a bluegill pattern. If the fish are foraging on shad, the frog colors I throw, will be imitate and replicate a shad pattern. The fish are going to tell you in what they want and what tempo.

White 90% of the time for me. Rarely throw black unless it’s got a yellow head. Brown sometimes
