Nothing since this from Nov 20 on their FB ....

This is posted on NewJen FB

As many of you know if you were at our last event or watched it online, Jenn’s mom has been fighting for her life after complications from a “routine” surgery. Jenn has been by her side 24/7 for nearly a month now. I ran my first of two hundred events without her so she could be with her mom.

While I was 400 miles away, Jenn and her dad were involved in a head on collision that could have easily taken both of their lives. The ambulance took Jenn and her dad to the same hospital where her mom was and just like that, three of the most important people in our family were all patients at the same hospital. Jenn refused to let me leave the event to come home and it was the most helpless I have ever felt in my life.

I want to say thank you to all that have reached out to us and those which already had my family in their thoughts and prayers at the time of the accident, your prayers saved their lives. Jenn has many injuries, her wrist looks broken, her pelvis is bruised black from her belly button to her hips, her face is black and blue from the airbag and her left arm has the nastiest bruise depicting the Chevrolet emblem that blew off the steering wheel when the air bag deployed and hit her in the forearm. She is very sore, needs all kinds of testing to make sure some stints in her neck from a previous brain surgery haven’t shifted.

Her dad is pretty beat up too. He took the passenger airbag to the chest and the impact may have momentarily stoped his heart. He has had many tests, lots of pain and still, the both of them have not left Moms side.

Please keep the prayers coming! Jenn, I love you more than you will ever know and I am so thankful that you are still with us. Our family needs you. Mom, you are one tough woman, many a man would have tapped out after the suffering you have endured, we are so happy for your resilience, our family needs you too. Newt-

I would say at this point their tournaments are not going with all the things they have going on in their lives now. They are not posting anything online or returning calls or texts. I hope things get better for them.

New Update From NewJen
‼️NewJen Family ‼️
TEAMS: We look forward to seeing everyone for our Team Circuit season OPENER at Shasta Lake this Saturday. We have a great team schedule this year and are looking forward to seeing YOU.
PRO/AMs: After weighing out a very difficult decision, we have decided to cancel our Pro/Am events for 2025. White River Marine Group has great representation with WON BASS in the shared-weight Pro/Am structure and we encourage anyone displaced to take a look at what Billy and Won Bass have to offer.
NewJen is always thinking outside the box. With that being said, we will be offering Pro-Only events on the Fridays previously scheduled for Pro/Ams. These will be one day events and this will be a pilot program. If this is a format that you would enjoy, we encourage you to support it for 2025. As for THIS COMING FRIDAY, unfortunately, we had high hopes that MLF would vacate their permits after cancelling their Western division events in CA. They did not and we do not have a permit for this coming Friday and will be doing our first Pro only event this Sunday.
We will have registration open tomorrow afternoon!
We look forward to seeing our NewJen family this weekend!
-Newt and Jenn

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Good afternoon NewJen Family,
NewJen Bass has run 8 years and over 200 tournaments that have come with a caliber and presentation unsurpassed. The NewJen brand was born in 2017 at Lake Kaweah and accidentally grew from a Central California local club to a statewide, nationally recognized organization. We pioneered touch-free tournaments during Covid, keeping anglers on the water during a very difficult time in life. We gave away 11 fully rigged boats since September of 2022, which were some of the best prize packages in the West. And most importantly, our presence challenged the entire tournament industry to raise their own bar with standards of transparency, honesty, and integrity. To say we have "a lot to be proud of" is an understatement.
With all that bring said, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are not currently able to run events that anglers have come to expect from the NewJen brand, thus, we are canceling events until further notice.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment that this may cause. All entry fees for any future tournaments that you have paid will be refunded in a timely manner. All AOY awards will be honored upon our comeback.
NewJen Bass has a significant online presence and following on the web site and social media. We would encourage you to share what you would like to see us focus on for the interim (fishing reports, interviews, industry news, etc.).
As always, the NewJen Bass line will remain open and we are available at 559-646-5361 or by email at GetHooked@NewJenBass.com. If you would like to contact us directly, any suggestions or ideas are more than welcome.
We absolutely cannot wait until we see all of you again!
♥️Always,
NewJen Bass
