Replacing props
Replacing props
I have a 17ft aluminum, multi specie boat with a Mercury 115 four stroke. I hit something on the Delta several weeks ago and damaged the aluminum prop, a little more than I think could be repaired. The prop was a 15 pitch. Checking on line, I found 15 pitch props, that came with numbers from 11 to as much as 21, which I think has something to do with the size of the blades. My damaged prop is not marked with any numbers like the above. Can anyone suggest which size I need as well how to measure for that second number? Thanks in advance.
Fish bite twice a day - half hour before I get there and half hour after I leave.

Re: Replacing props
I agree with Monte! Aluminum prop can be repaired pretty easily by a prop guy!
