Clear lake cheating

I was in Lakeport tackle the day before the chamber of commerce event . Worker in there was telling other guys about a found caged 9-10 pounder and that DFG was “working it.” Has anyone else heard this .?

Honestly! I am kinda surprised this is the first I have heard of this story, but it's sad if true!

If DFG was working it they should have kept the find under wraps.

Assuming it’s true, pretty unlikely anyone would go back for the fish with people talking about it in tackle shops.

I would imagine that if this is the case most tournament directors have been alerted and that DFG is building a case. My understanding is that they will leave said cages in place to try to catch the actual perpetrators for prosecution.

The fact that guys cheat in this sport boils my blood
