Please excuse the expression, but IF Newsome has said and done everything you said, how is Orange Boy any different? Trump is beginning to piss off more Republicans by the day - especially those affected by his executive decrees.
I went to the post office yesterday and spoke with a near-retirement gentleman who waited on me. He said Trump's attempt to privatize the P.O. will cost thousands of jobs and threaten pensions with branch closures. As for myself, I'd rather travel only 10 min. to the P.O than 25 min. to the next nearest one.
I did the math: car prices with tariffs will cost an extra $3500 - $10,000 to buy a foreign-made car not to mention American assembled cars made with many foreign parts.
Trump has awakened the stock market bear, asleep during Biden's time in office, and millions of accounts have been and will be negatively affected as the economy contracts and inflation rises along with unemployment.
Newsome may be what you say, but he is echoing the concerns of Americans regarding many of the golden showers Trump is blessing all of us with. The problem with golden showers is that the source will eventually get soaked from the blowback of the opposition getting stronger by the day.
As I keep saying, negative numbers don't lie and if the growing number of people at demonstrations across the country is any indication for the GOP, the next midterm election will the change the majority in Congress delivering left hooks in opposition to everything T has done or will do.

Watching the news this morning regarding the brutal prison in El Salvador, WTH?!!!! Donnie boy not only has flaunted due process but wants to build more prisons in that country while continuing to pay billions for them with taxpayer dollars! What's wrong with building them in the U.S. and employing U.S. citizens to run and man them? I'll tell you why:
Prisoners in El Salvador can't be questioned by the media or visited by relatives! Many have stories to tell that would question their incarcerations and future deportations due to Trump -ed-up style charges and accusations. The oblivious & compliant GOP sheep, with heads bobbing up & down, agree that most immigrants in general, belong in such prisons and that due process be damned!
Problem is, due process applies to immigrants, both documented and undocumented, residing in the United States. This means they are entitled to fair legal proceedings before being deprived of life, liberty, or property. Granted, it is more expensive to validate deportments much less incarcerations, but the 14th Amendment hasn't been overturned yet by the Trumpster.
Hard-working immigrants who have contributed to our society, paid taxes and paid into Soc. Sec. (even though they can't collect it), are the targets of Trump and his minions that believe the terms cruel & unjust treatment and truth & justice for all only applies to them and not to those murdering, thieving, drug pushing immigrant/animals. (Remember his claim Haitians eat people's pets?!!)
Trump never disappoints with his outrageous, daily, arrogant acts and pseudopatriotic statements he knows appeal to the ignorant who support everything he does without question.
