Golden Mussel Inspections

Post by BASNFAN »

I was hoping to make it up to Oroville this Friday, but I have heard rumors that they were instituting the quarantine, etc. for the lake, but I have not heard anything for sure, like if and when. Can anybody clue me in? Thanks in advance.

Well, looks like the oligarchs got what they need to keep everything shutdown and keep adding regulations and inspections to more bodies of water 😂 this state is hilarious. I think when Kamala gets elected governor next year I’ll pull the plug and go.

Yes exactly what they need to get their authoritarian leadership. Ca is following the footsteps right back to kings and queens we fled. Might as well join the EU. That’s what most people around here are advocating weather they know it or not

Short video of the mussels they claimed was transported from the Delta to Folsom. Looks legit to me.

That sounds like a full load of crap.
Where was the boat from? How long had it been in water. Let’s have all the information, probably get a better time frame as to how long the golden mussels have actually been present in the delta.

The golden mussel probably has been in the delta long enough for it to have been spread into all the lakes if does in fact move with recreational boating

How is nobody pushing back on this. Is there any organization suing the state over this. It’s gonna kill the boating industry. Like democrats care. Has Covid taught us nothing. It’s just another tool of control. Tournament fishing circuits can’t work with this. But democrats don’t care. Because fishing mean to the fish. Outboards use gas which is polluting. The democrats never let a problem go unexploited. This is just the excuse they needed to shut us down. Does anyone know exactly how long these protocols will be in place. Is it forever. Looks like if I want to be able to fish when I want and where I want I’ll have to move out of state. This is just ridiculous.

You are exactly right. We have rat bastards among us who are taking the America out of America
Soon we will be like the rest of the world.
These rats are hiding in the democrat party
Most countries are not like us. Most countries don’t have boating and fishing for the average person.
It’s for royalty and privately owned.
We have plenty of rats here that fight tooth and nail for authoritarian rule. Look around and see how many mentally ill people are wearing a mask at the grocery store in 2025
These so called do gooders are doing so much good they are ruining our way of life
Boating as you know it is over. The whole thing is an excuse to keep us off the water and everyone knows it
If recreational boating moves mussels as they say every lake in the state would have zebra and quagga mussels by now. When did that scam start? 15 or 20 years ago?
Come on dumb shits. Who do they think they are kidding?
They are fooling nobody. Even the rat communist bastards implementing this nonsense knows it’s BS
Like I said only the Mental ill actually believe these authoritarian restrictions are needed.
If I offended you You will get over it

Yes I know not you
I’m sure I offend some people here.
They know who they are.
They want to ban everything from gas lawnmowers and generators. They want us to buy gas less generators. WTF is that ? Just a battery. A gasless generator is not generating anything. But in Ca they are banning generators even in RVs and campers
My point is they want us off the water just because they have the power to take more freedom away.

The people are morons. Look what they did during Covid. Did we not learn? They shut down the economy. They closed the restaurants and put them out of business. They shut down the schools and much much more
All that without firing a shot. It was too easy.
Oh there is a bad cold among us and all the smart liberals went and hid in holes like scared rabbits

They inspected 5000 boats at lake Folsom and how many more at berry? They found 1 boat with mussels took pictures at berry
Then a week later the news showed that same boat and same pictures at lake Folsom
How stupid are we? Thousands of boats inspected and one is contaminated that looks like its planted

The whole **** show only happens in Ca

And all the good little sheep went along with the program for the better good

What I don’t understand is why the only thing not being locked down is the delta. It’s the apex. The source. I smell a rat.

The Delta spans over 1,100 square miles and serves as a hub for agriculture, recreation, and water conveyance. Implementing uniform boat restrictions across this area is logistically challenging.

There’s definitely a lot of frustration to go around. I just wish we could get some straight answers — either the lake's open or it’s not. The uncertainty is what’s really killing the weekend plans. I’m all for protecting waterways, but the communication and rollout of these policies feels like a total mess.

I totally agree about the confusion! Just today on the news was a report that Folsom has been reopened but what does that mean? No quarentine? No inspection? Just pay your launch fee and go? ? ?

No I doubt that. It’s been 30 days since the first quarantine was available
I believe boating in Cali is going to be regulated heavily like everything else

what’s funny is it doesn’t take a Rocket Scientist to realize that the same ships have been making the same transit from foreign ports to the Delta for decades and they just discovered the Golden mussel now ? I call BS! the lies and gaslighting never stop!
