Look Democrats have been pushing some dumb immigration policies for years now and it’s starting to backfire on them big time. They are not getting votes when all their voting base is deported
Sure, they want to come off as compassionate, but the reality is hitting voters hard, especially in border states and big cities.
Think about it if you can
places like Texas and Arizona are getting overwhelmed with migrants crossing illegally. Local governments are strapped trying to feed house and provide healthcare for all these people. Even cities like New York and Chicago are feeling it shelters are
popping up in neighborhoods, schools, and parks, and residents aren’t happy.
Then there’s the whole “abolish ICE” movement, which sounded good to activists but scared the heck out of regular folks who just want borders secured and laws enforced. Republicans have run with that, painting Democrats as weak on border security. That message is sticking, especially with swing voters and Latino communities who want balanced policies, not open borders.
Even some Democrat leaders in sanctuary cities are admitting the system’s broken and asking for help. That’s not exactly a sign of success.
Politically, this is hurting Democrats in key areas. Republicans are winning seats in places that used to be blue because voters are fed up with the mess and want real solutions, not just slogans.
Democrats thought they could keep pushing these immigration policies without fallout, but people are catching on. If they don’t get serious about border control and enforcement, they risk losing even more voters in the next elections
