340-acre Lake Fire 25 percent contained; Clearlake evacuation orders downgraded to warnings
Lake Fire: Forward progress stopped, evacuation warnings lifted in Clearlake
CLEARLAKE, Calif. —
Evacuation warnings have been lifted for a large vegetation fire in Lake County Sunday, according to Cal Fire.
Crews responded to Eastlake Drive and Oak Street around 2:20 p.m., Cal Fire said.

The blaze, which officials are calling the Lake Fire, has burned around 340 acres and is 25% contained as of 11 p.m.
At least two buildings have been damaged, according to Cal Fire. One structure with a metal roof was seen smoking at East Park Road and Park Road.
The fire initially caused officials to issue evacuation orders, but those have since been lifted.
Cal Fire Sonoma Lake Napa spokesperson Jason Clay said at the height of the f ire, they 25 engines, six bulldozers, six hand crews, seven fixed winged aircraft and two helicopters. He said they had a total of 225 personnel working the fire.
