MARINA UPDATE FOR PRIVATE BOATERS
MARINA UPDATE FOR PRIVATE BOATERS
We love welcoming private boaters to Lake Hemet for recreation and fishing. It is a joy to see you making lasting memories season after season here. Whether it's relaxing on the water or going after that elusive PB, we are here for all of it and we never want it to end.
To keep Lake Hemet healthy and safe for future generations, we need your help.
Invasive species like Quagga, Zebra and Golden mussels are a persistent threat to critical reservoirs all over California.
If they were to become present at Lake Hemet, it would cause severe ecological damage and would gravely impact how our water is shared and distributed for critical agriculture in Southern California.
Our certified staff work tirelessly to inspect every vessel that launches from our marina to ensure that guests are not unknowingly transferring these tiny terrors into our water.
So far, so good at Lake Hemet, but we have to remain vigilant.
In an ongoing, concerted effort to protect this reservoir, Lake Hemet will now only be accepting bands issued from our marina as of 9/6/25.
Your private boats are ALWAYS WELCOME here, but they will need to arrive outside of any quarantine, drained, dried and pass inspection by our staff prior to launching. As always, your vessels may not be launched anywhere at Lake Hemet other than our marina.
These small inconveniences are BIG WAYS that we can fight back together to keep Lake Hemet an excellent fishing destination for years to come.
REMINDER: Summer is over, so the Lake Hemet marina is now closed every Tuesday and Wednesday.
You can enjoy boat rentals and personal launching Thursday to Monday each week!
