MARINA UPDATE FOR PRIVATE BOATERS

MARINA UPDATE FOR PRIVATE BOATERS
We love welcoming private boaters to Diamond Valley Marina for recreation and fishing. It is a joy to see you making lasting memories season after season here. Whether it's capturing your PB, limiting out, or just relaxing on the water, we are here for all of it and we never want it to end.
To keep Diamond Valley Lake healthy and safe for future generations, we need your help.
Invasive species like Quagga, Zebra and Golden mussels are a persistent threat to critical reservoirs all over California.
Just this week, the Department of Water Resources (DWR), California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), and California State Parks have confirmed the presence of invasive golden mussels at Pyramid Lake in Los Angeles County and Silverwood Lake in San Bernardino County. This is a critical problem, and greater steps must be taken to protect Diamond Valley Lake.
If these or other mussels were to be detected here, it would cause severe ecological damage and would gravely impact how our water is shared and distributed in Southern California.
Our certified staff work diligently to inspect every vessel that launches from our marina to ensure that guests are not unknowingly transferring these organisms into our water from other local lakes that are known to have them.
The list of those lakes is growing and so must our preservation efforts.
In an ongoing, concerted effort to protect this reservoir, Diamond Valley Marina will now only be accepting bands issued from our marina as of 9/12/25. In addition, there will be a mandatory, full 7 day quarantine period for boats coming from Silverwood Lake and any other lake known to have Quagga or Golden mussels.
Your private boats are ALWAYS WELCOME here, but they will need to arrive outside of any quarantine, drained, dried and pass inspection by our staff prior to launching.
These small inconveniences are BIG WAYS that we can fight back together to keep Diamond Valley a premiere fishing destination for years to come.
We thank you for your help!
