Hmmm, are last night's election results a harbinger of things to come ?

Post by Senkosam »

Unless the GOP fight back against the radical-in-office, one thing is for sure: underestimating minority voters - especially Latinos, farmers (remember Argentina and China?), small business owners, the American consumer, laid off federal workers or people in dire need of SNAP when it comes to who they will support in 2026 is a BIG mistake. Even many Republicans are starting to criticize what the orange man is doing in the name of red/white & blue (mostly red and white.)

BTW Gondal: Democrats range from far left to moderate to progressive to conservative. I'm in the middle and more Independent politically, never endorsing idiots or the actions of either party unless they speak for the people and not the flavor-of-the-month pol that ensures re-election. Name calling is juvenile and Trump is the master of it encouraging MAGATs to be like him. In the long run they and he will return to the holes they emerged from - and I'm not talking holes in the ground. (...good thing for toilet paper though the stain will be around for quite some time.)

It’s crickets in here because last night is sign of things to come. People are already fed up with the lies about things getting less expensive, when in reality they’re getting more expensive. MAGA needs to figure out how to cheat in the midterms or cancel them all together because they can’t win a fair election

The think the Party of Trump's preferred change to the Pledge of Allegiance from:
"I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND TO THE REPUBLIC FOR WHICH IT STANDS, ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL."

to:

"I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO Donald Trump and for what He Stands For (???), One Nation Under Fraud, Divisible with Bribery and Lawlessness for all - meaning - Those willing to Obey and be Forever Loyal to The Orange King that Shits on the Throne and Wipes his *** with the Constitution of the United State of America."

He fooled many of the voters the second time around. But even many of those fooled can no longer look the other way when rising inflation and unemployment start affecting their lives and the services, which they depend on that are now put on hold.

2026 should be very interesting....

Excuses excuses! Naturally no mention of GOP losses in Mississippi, Pennsylvania and Georgia  Time for rump to figure out more ways to cheat cause he can’t win a fair election.

How can you defend a regime that’s bailing out Argentina to the tune of $40 billion at the same time refusing to fund snap? How is this making America great again you magat cult member?

Gibberish/ deflection is Trump's trademark along with intentional misinformation or ignorance of the issues. MAGATs applaud such a mentality not acceptable in any president past or future.
Sad and a mystery to all of us who can think and evaluate information based on details and facts which are consistently absent from the mad Yam-skinned excuse for a president.

(BTW MAGATs: Trump insisted he was going to lower taxes to the middle class but instead has raised them via the backdoor of tariffs - and without lubricant to boot! )

"Let them eat cake" comes to mind when it comes to food affordability. Trump's assertion that Walmart's Thanksgiving meal costs 25% less than last year does not mention the parts of the meal that are left out such as premade pie and apples to make pie, broth, cranberry sauce and onions to name a few. Plus, forget buying brands other than Great Value - Walmart's brand, which accounts for some foods being cheaper. (Wonder how much Walmart contributed to his campaign?!!) Consumers want choices NOT rhetoric.

While continually calling Biden names like "sleepy/crooked Joe Biden", may excite and entertain his pliant base, it hides an apathy for what is right central to Trump's appeal to that base. What's mine is mine/ keep your grubby hands off it- so F/U!, is the simplistic theme of this administration that ignores the cooperation and co-dependence essential in a modern society not ruled by oligarchs or fools. Calling concerned citizens and everyone else that disagrees with him names (like the above), is juvenile and pathetic, something T does with regularity to hide his inadequate, incompetent and impotent leadership.

Our King, this definition is straight from Google:

Five common traits of a narcissist include a grandiose sense of self-importance, a need for excessive admiration, a sense of entitlement, a lack of empathy for others, and a tendency to exploit or manipulate people for personal gain. Other associated traits include a preoccupation with fantasies of success, a belief in being special or superior, and envy of others.

Excellent Dave!!! :D

A few other adjectives I think applicable off the top of my head:

crude, tasteless
shallow
obnoxious
oblivious
clueless & incompetent
in complete denial - intentional or unintentional
fear & hate monger/ disrupter
behavior prone to shock & awe tactics to distract the public
disruptor of the status quo here and abroad
induces fear & distrust and then amplifies it
cruel / sadistic / demeaning
vengeful on a whim
whimsical when it comes to national or international policy/ changes course on a dime/
consistent in his inconsistency (just ok'd Hungary's purchase of Russian oil - FU Ukraine!)
amoral with zero conscience/ murderous (bombing boats without proof of drug involvement)/ crush all opposition
totally self-absorbed
distracts from his insincerity with fake sincerity / same for covering his ignorance with fake wisdom
supersensitive & paranoid
incoherent & illogical much of the time when asked questions
simplistic - especially required for his loyal followers that don't care about details
absurd - regarding actions and behavior not befitting a U.S. president - even clownish at times, loves being a spectacle
greedy - the richer the better
gleefully above the law and willing to pardon fellow criminals no matter the crime
disloyal to his own party and the nation as he hobnobs with world leaders while our nation is sinking

Even JVGondal's got to admit that some of the above character flaws of his idol apply!

Never said things are that good
Just about 100 times better than Jack *** Biden/Harris

Being a socialist/communist you surely will never understand
The unaffordable care act has sucked since Obummer stated it. Now instead of fixing it democrats want to fund it. Ever since it started our medical coast have risen for those who work for a living.
Gas is down some
Groceries are out of control some what.
Meat is crazy. Trump says it is as well. So that means the price is fine for you?
Your taxes and energy cost are much higher in blue states

The elected mayor in NY proves the democrats are full on communist
Keep on with your ideology and we will join China Cuba North Korea
The very people who yell no kings vote in a mayor who says the government can and will take control of everything.
