nite fishing at casitas tonite

Post by mcdough43 »

Putting together a friendly fishing competition tonite at casitas if anybody is interested. So far at 4 boats and wouldnt mind getting one or two more. We're heading out from 6 till 12. Twenty bucks a person (three people on your boat 60$, one person 20$ etc.). 5 best fish takes the purse. Pre and post fishing beer a must. (Drink responsibly) Regardless, hope to see some sticks out there tonite, should be fun. :D

You might want to check with the Park Rangers first.

Tonight is the first ever Lake Casitas Moonlight Fishing event, which runs from 8:30 p.m. to 12:20 a.m. It is the first time that Lake Casitas will be opened to night fishing from boats other than a night tournament. It is entirely Catch & Release; with the release immediately after the catch (i.e. you cannot put any fish into a livewell).

I'm certainly not trying to poo poo your friendly fishing competition mcdough43; I'm just trying to help you avoid any potential issues with the lake staff (who are a great bunch, by the way).

Regardless, have a great time tonight. (I'll be at Lake Piru fishing the C.J. night tournament tonight).
