Maduro’s government, according to the statement, plans to denounce the situation before the United Nations

"
the shock to them will be like nothing they have ever seen before — Until such time as they return to the United States of America all of the Oil, Land, and other Assets that they previously stole from us.”
Venezuela’s government released a statement Tuesday accusing Trump of “violating international law, free trade, and the principle of free navigation with “a reckless and grave threat” against the South American country. On his social media, he assumes that Venezuela’s oil, land, and mineral wealth are his property."

The legal problem of blowing boats to bits comes down to government-sponsored homicide. Even drug pushers and thugs in the U.S. are told to surrender and put down their arms prior to arrest followed by the reading of their rights. There's no way a boat would fight back against a naval ship warning to make way for boarding and search. Making arrests and hauling the crew before a U.S. court would be time-consuming and expensive (as it is now) for such a small amount of drugs (if there were drugs).

Blockading a country based on one idiot's claim is a crime in and of itself.

My reply is only meant for intelligent non-MAGATs that live in the real world and not followers of a pathetic excuse of a man much less president.

WTF??? You can't make this sh** up!

“Venezuelan Regime has been designated a FOREIGN TERRORIST ORGANIZATION.” The foreign terrorist organization or FTO designation has been historically reserved for non-state actors that do not have sovereign immunity conferred by either treaties or the United Nations.

Venezuela’s government released a statement Tuesday accusing Trump of “violating international law, free trade, and the principle of free navigation with “a reckless and grave threat” against the South American country. On his social media, he assumes that Venezuela’s oil, land, and mineral wealth are his property."

Blockading a country based on one idiot's claim is a crime in and of itself. Venezuela, which has the world’s largest proven oil reserves and produces about 1 million barrels a day, of that, 80% goes to China, 15% to 17% goes to the U.S. through Chevron Corp.
What if China sends ships to protect Venezuelan tankers? What will T do then? Risk war with China?!!! What about Chevron's stock price and shareholders? How do they view Dump's actions?
T's actions will eventually raise the price of oil and energy in general.

Trump's Dirty Harry facade may fool and excite his MAGATs here and elsewhere, but push back is inevitable when distractions and lies are no longer distracting and reality talks loud enough forcing everyone to listen.

JV- history lesson: defeating Germany was a tad more meaningful than going up against Venezuela, if we had been around then of course we all would have celebrated victory in WWII.

If the likes of you were around we would be speaking German
There would have been no kings protest on every corner
Protests against the use of atomic weapons on Hiroshima and Nagasaki as Civilian casualties
War crimes
U.S. in unverified bombings
call for immediate nuclear disarmament
Protest Executive Order 9066 Look it up
protests against internment camps
Condemnation of Racial profiling
Objections to
Flag displays
“America First” wartime rhetoric
MANDATORY loyalty expectations
Called nationalism or fascism
Anti-draft
War benefits corporations
Working class men bear the cost
Pacifist and anti-militarist arguments would be everywhere
Objections to U.S. influence in Europe and Asia
Protested against Post-war global leadership
Claims of America replacing European empire

We would have lost. If we had won the great men who defeated the enemy would be locked up for war crimes

Are you that detached from your own ideology?

oy... magaites seem to have a short memory. Rump botched the pandemic. Biden (despite his "sleepyness") brought down inflation from 9 percent to 3-4 ish percent despite. Jobs came back, people went back to their cubes, the supply chain slowly moved forward. Thats quite an accomplishment for any president --

Corrections per Bureau of Labor Statistics vs those in Jiggin's and Dump's fantasy world
(note: you make it too easy to show what fools believe based on what the fool-in-chief claims as factual.) :

The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) increased 3.0 percent for the 12 months ending September 2025, after rising 2.9 percent over the 12 months ending August.
Note: The Consumer Price Index (CPI) measures the change in prices paid by consumers for goods and services for each of two population groups: all urban consumers and urban wage earners and clerical workers. The CPIs are based on prices of food, clothing, shelter, fuels, transportation, doctors' and dentists' services, drugs, and other goods and services that people buy for day-to-day living.

Synopsis:
1. In 2025 food prices increased 3.1 percent and energy costs rose 2.8 percent.
2 Natural gas prices rose 11.7 percent over the year and electricity costs increased 5.1 percent. In contrast, the index for gasoline rose 4.1 percent in September. (in my area, gas prices are higher than they were in 2024.)

The all-items index less food and energy index, also rose 3.0 percent over the last 12 months. The energy index increased 2.8 percent for the 12 months ending in September.
Carry over inflation breakdown from 2024 to Sept. 2025 includes:
food .5 vs 2.7
gasoline -6.3 vs -.5 (in my area, gas prices are slightly higher than they were in 2024.)
electricity .9 vs 5.1 (my electric bill has gone up on average and we conserve)
fuel oil -.4 vs 4.1 9 (my heating oil bill went up from $3.09/g in Jan. to $3.50/gal as of Oct f/u)
Utility (piped) gas service 3.6 vs 11.7 (my propane bill has gone up)
shelter (housing) .2 vs 3.6
medical care .5 vs 3.9
All-items less food and energy .1 vs 3

Unemployment Rate in 2025 per Bureau of Labor Statistics
From September 2024 to September 2025, 18 states and the District of Columbia had unemployment rate increases from a year earlier, 9 states had decreases, and 23 states had little change. The national unemployment rate, 4.4 percent, was 0.3 percentage point higher than in September 2024.

The above is easily checked online from many sources (except DozyDump).

What grocery store are you seeing dropping prices? I shop with my wife every week and I’m seeing no reductions. One thing chump is learning is that you can’t gaslight people about their expenses and the effects of inflation. To say the economy is doing great confirms that you believe everything that comes from chump’s mouth, when in reality very little of what he ever says is truth.

Are you having problem with energy prices and grocery prices and fuel prices boat payments car. Payments high health inc. premiums. Your 401k should take care of all that. You might want to think about getting a second job if thing are bad for you.
Dam I wish we had a 401 k but then again we don't need one we're doing very well without it.
I have no payments other than are grocerys cell phone health care bill fuel all three of my homes and solar are payed for. Vehicles an bassboat payed for so we're doing very well even though it's ca. And you have a pos govonor.

My wife and I are doing fine financially and we both have 401k’s that are doing quite well. It makes me laugh when you and JV suggest getting a second job. I like to hold politicians accountable for their campaign promises and chump promised lower prices on day one. A year later he still hasn’t delivered. The market is doing so well because of AI. Chump inherited that good fortune exactly like Clinton inherited the dot com boom which anchored his great economy and stock market performance.

I have this affliction called empathy for those less fortunate than myself. I worry about my legacy, kids and grandkids and refuse to relinquish democracy for them without a fight
