hey guys,
i am looking for a used glass boat. i am not too sure about the new advanced metal tin rockets....no offense! i actually would even consider buying one if i took a ride and felt comfortable. i do fear about running the big nasty waters the delta and clear lake ahve to offer. i have rode a ranger once, a old 374 w/175, i have ridden cooch's stratos (a beast it is too) very impressed!! and a skeeter 185 w/150 yamaha. i am kinda interested ina basscat based on looks and a champion. if i was to geta boat i would be spending anywhere from around 8k to 15k. is dat good enough? i want more room, more compartments, more deck, speed and to store away my new/growing collection od 7ft plus size rods.
thank-you in advance.....saLTIE-

Salite look at a BassCat Classic with a 200 1998-2001 may fit within your price range. Remember to save some coin to put right back into the boat for electronics, new batteries, bearings and Maintenance check prior to purchase

You should be able to find a decent boat for $12-15K. I paid $15K for my 22' Ranger 492VS last year. Boat had 225EFI Merc that ran great for about 10hours then lost #1 Cylinder. Now I have 23K into it,but the 335HP motor kicks a$$. Boat is awesome, aircraft carrier sized decks and you can fit 8'+ rods in the lockers if need be. I'd take someone along that has a bass boat when shopping to help with things a new guy might not know to look for (Used).
