I Have been using Invizex for all my Flouro applications and really like it, but something I have noticed when I use it for cranking is the the line gets frayed ... alot!
I have used other flouros for cranking and never had this problem. Anyone else having this problem with Invizex or any other flouro?
Thanks

Re: Seagar Invizex for cranking
I have used both Sunline Shooter and P-Line Fluoro without any issues. I now prefer using Sunline Defier for Crankin'. Small diameter with just a little stretch and excellent rub resistance.

Yes your not the only one that has had this happen to them..
Inviz isn't really rock freindly.. It was designed to be a very limp line..
Its a mix between FW leader material and Carbon Pro.. So it has awesome qualities for spinning tackle. Its just not quite as strong as Carbon Pro.
Its best quality is in grass.. If your cranking around rocks be aware.. The best solution is to run Carbon Pro. Its Awesome for that application...

Try the Sunline Defier in the 13 and 15 lb.
I use the 13lb for ripbaits and the 15lb for cranking. I use to be a Seaguar only user until I started using Sunline. Get the Sunline Defier, it comes in 330 yard spools and I have had it on my reels for over 8 months. When you want to change it, just spool it on backwards. Also the 15 and 17lb line is great for blades. Basically, I use the Defier for any reaction bite. Topwater, rippin, crankin, blades.

Re: Seagar Invizex for cranking
It all depends on the application... Because Inviz has a smaller diameter than Carbon Pro you can run a little heavier line when Drop Shotting etc. Its incredible for Clear water Situations...
I really Love both lines they are awesome!!!!
Again it just depends on the situation you are in... Buts its great to have both lines at your side...
