I fished a T.O.C., last Friday and Saturday and they wanted the bait sitting still. I was throwing a double wide Hertotoma? black and blue... with a carolina rig using 3/4 lead and tossing it into 25 plus feet of water and dragging it back to the shore ever so slowly, like twice twice puase for a minute, then I would just pick it out and let it sit. I fishe3d 13th out of 51 boats... and the winners were throw a shad color craknk bait which I do not know...but where I do... Soda bay...have fun, I'm sure I already told you more then some may care for me to have indulged you, also, just for kicks second place was throwing brown on brown jigs and just throwing to the shade under docks in the south and letting it sit....so the key is shade and letting it sit, I was catching fish in the open water, but they is a key I'm not telling you is where that you will have to figure out on your own...Good Luck and good fishing.
