Post by JeffJ »

Any one have the fins fall off there BBZ-1 swimbaits yet? I barely used my swimbait for the first time yesterday and had one of the plastic fins fall out while casting. Who can I contact to get a new replacement fin?

JEFF, I PULLED ON THE FINNS AS HARD AS I COULD IN BILLS GARAGE THE FUNNY THING IS I COULDE'NT MOVE THEM. I TWISTED AND TRIED TO TEAR THEM OFF AND NO MOVEMENT. THE ONE I RECIEVED A MONTH AGO THAT I SHOWED AROUND I LET PEOPLE PULL ON THE FINNS, ACCTUALLY I TOLD THEM TO PULL AS HARD AS THEY COULD. NOT ONE PROBLEM. IM SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR PROBLEM. WHEN YOU RECIEVE YOUR NEW FINNS GO TO http://WWW.PROSOFTBAITGLUE.COM AND GET THE PRO KICKER ACCELLERATOR YOULL HAVE TO CONTACT MIKE FOR THE ACCELLERATOR AND USE THAT BEFOR YOU USE THE PRO GLUE AND YOULL BE AMAZED. THE GUY IS MIKE RICE TO TALK TO THERE. FOR FUN GET AN OLD BAIT TEAR IT IN HALF AND USE THIS STUFF TO PUT IT BACK TOGETHER. YOULL CATCH MORE FISH ON THAT BAIT. IF IT WERE ME WITH ANY SWIMBAIT YOU CHECK IT OUT BEFOR YOU USE IT PULL ON THE FINNS. IF ANY PROBLEM, MAKE AN ADJUSTMENT. YOU TWEEK MOST OF THEM, ADD STINGER HOOKS, FIX AND REPAIR TEARS DUE TO STINGERS, ROCKS, TREES AND MOSTLY FISH. THATS PART OF MAINTENANCE. IF YOU HAVE A KNICK IN YOUR LINE AND YOU DONT RETIE BEFOR CASTING IT COULD SNAP OFF OR YOU COULD LOOSE THAT FISH. CHECK YOUR BAIT IF IT NEEDS MAINTENANCE FIX IT. IF HOOKS GET DULL FROM WHATEVER CHANGE THEM. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU OUT. [/url]

I can't find "PRO KICKER ACCELLERATOR" on the http://www.prosoftbaitglue.com/ website.

Went to check it out and all they got is the glue.

Thats kinda wierd. Everytiime i pull on the rubber fins as hard as i can they tear right off. What kind of rubber are you fins made out of Rob? Its gotta be a kryptonite rubber or plastic of some sort. That would be pretty cool if you couldn't tear em off when you tried. I need those fins. Are they like a pro staff deal or what?

GUYS, BILL CALLED ME AND CAME OVER. WE TOOK OUT ALL 18 NEW BAITS THAT I RECIEVED. SOME OF THE FINS ARE PULLING OFF THEY USED A DIFFERENT GLUE IN MANUFACTURING. WE GLUED ALL OF MY BAITS. WITH THE ACCELARETOR FIRST THEN THE GLUE. IM SURE THE GLITCHES WILL GET WORKED OUT. ITS UNFORTUNATE BUT IVE SEEN WORSE LIKE PAINT FALLING OFF AND THAT WORKED OUT TO BE ONE OF THE GREATEST SWIMBAITS TO DATE. THE ACCELARATOR IS NOT ON PROS SITE YOU WILL NEED TO CONTACT HIM FOR THAT PRODUCT. ITS THE WAY TO GO. IF ANY ONE WANTS TO PULL ON MY FINNS JUST CALL AND ILL MEET YOU.

bbz1 baits

Post by smpboy »

i bought 2 baits from angers today and went to try them out this afternoon the first was the slowsinker which had great action and the second was the fast sinker, the fast sinker didnt sink it was a floater the package and the bait both say fastsinker on it but yet it was a floater, it still had awsome action but i hope this was just a fluke and as for the fins go they seem to be on the pretty good.

Just spoke with bill , Believe me , he is as displeased with this issue as anybody ! Yes , he is going to be a busy man taking care of this issue . Nobody wants to here about the problem more than he . He put countless hours and several months doing research and development on this bait . HE WANTS YOU TO CATCH FISH !!! The accelerator is the solution ! Be patient .
Can't wait to here about the fish this thing catches , It wont be Long .

For me on the Delta 24/7 for know. I've found that the BBZ-1 goes thru the grass pretty well. I bought the Slow Sinker, rate of fall is about 6inch's a second.

I've been fishing it in about 5-6ft of water. I have about 4 hours of continuous throwing and noth'in fall'in off as of YET!!!

Can I just use the ProSoftGlue directly. Why do you need accelerator too?

The accelerator is recommended, but until i get it I'm using Gorilla glue.

I pulled on all my fins and tail as hard as I could and only one came off. No big deal I took care of it and am fishing tomorrow.

If you buy directly from a store, take the bait out of the box and pull on the fins before you buy it.

Is this an inherent problem or has the new line fixed the problem?

I've bought 2; I threw the floater BBZ the other day for about 3 hours and everything worked fine. Being a novice swimbaiter, I truly love the movement of this bait. All I have to do now is find the right line. Currently using 30lb yozuri hybrid. Would like to use floro but don't like the breakage I get...even after lubricatiing well.

Haven't caught fish yet, but its a matter of practice and right location

At the show, Bill S. said you just have to call Spro when they come up missing and the'll send out the replacements, or even repair them for free if necessary. I'm not sure they'd be inclined to send out spares, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. Yuo should be able to get the number from their web site.

I used Silicone sealant to attach the fin. It works great. No falling off again.
