Yamamoto Flappin Hogs

Post by Rick G »

Believe it or not, before they hit the shelfs they have been pulled off. Some stores have limited supply including Anglers Marine. So get these collectors items while supplies last. 714-666-2628 Rick G.
Anglers Marine has been serving Southern California boaters and fishermen since 1981, with the West's largest bass fishing tackle store and the best boat dealership on the west coast.

No problem, you can get them out of Japan (like I did and fished them the last year or so) or order them via Yamamoto store(I just had another order in for them the other day). Less money than via Japan also. Bill K :)

I found this thread on the Yamamoto board about the Flappin Hogs (http://www.insideline.net/cgi-bin/ez-fo ... read=35932) :

==========================================================
I also read this on another board by a Yamamoto dealer

"Believe it or not, before this product has even hit the shelf, they have been yanked off. There are a limited supply of these out there and according to Yamamoto Headquarters will not be offered again due to legal issues. So, if you want any of the collectors items get em while you can. We have limited supply."

Tell us it aint so!

Some sort of Patent infringement violation. My guess is that Japan will be cutoff also, but they will never again be shipping any in the U.S. according to Yamamoto Central. Bummer, these dudes are sweet. Rick G.

Word from Yamamoto Japan is they will continue to be sold here as they have been here for over 1.5 years and the infringment doesnt apply as it is a different yamamoto company here than in the states.

Good thing I have an unlimited supply at my becking call! :-)

You should see the new baits Yamamoto has that are not for sale in america... WOW...

Good News on Yamamoto Flappin' Hogs

Post by Marc »

This just in directly from Yamamoto central:

“We have a production and manufacturing problem with the Flappin’ Hog and it is being corrected. Until it is corrected, and it could take a considerable amount of time, we have had to remove the item from our product line. We can’t sell something that we can’t make. We regret and apologize for any inconvenience this has put on our distributors, dealers and retail customers. We are looking forward to having the Flappin’ Hog back in production and available again as soon as possible.â€
