i wonder if any of the other top finishers will sue for their $ diffrence because they would of finished 1 place higer? like guy williams look like he lost over 1300 what a mess, seems nbw kinda got what they deserved

Hey if anyone is fishing nbw next year and qualifies for the classic, but has to fish it solo call me I'm not going to fish their circuit next year, but ican fish havasu pretty good, we might win never know

If they did they would loose, they would not stand a chance, the tournament directors decision is final. Cory did nothing wrong, NBW might have messed up however they run a private company and can run it as they see fit (right or wrong). It would not be worth the time or money for any litagation. If anyone had any chance of a suit it would be if Cory does not get his boat then he is fully within his right to file a suit.

I am sure I will be slammed for this but ah hell its friday and I am leaving for a tournament in 2 hours.....

We received a letter saying we qualified last year and was allowed to fish even though we only fished 3 events. Looks like adding isn't their forte as well.

Hollywood, must be a japanese lawyer... TD's are like judges, they handle disputes between competitors. NBW's invite of non-qualified competitors happened before the tournament and is not part of the tournament protest rules. I know, you're going to say all of the big tournaments, like Stren, do it so it's okay. However, if you read the Stren rules, they clearly state that they may invite people outside of the "real" qualifers if the top 30 cannot all make it. NBW rules do not have such a comment. So the anglers that actually qualified and fished have a great case because NBW did not follow their own rules. Now the guys who won under the revised rules also got what they deserved (in a legal sense anyway) because they also followed they rules as they were verbally expressed to them by NBW. I just think, my opinion only, that the wrong people are having to sue, but as I stated before, they both had/have a great case.

Who cares its a bunch of bull I don't believe joe was even a member , but who cares I just won't fish their stuff and I hope alot of people see NBW true colors garanteed pay out is going to suck when only 5 boats show upto an event

Let me start off by saying I don't know Cory (I dont even know what he looks like) or any of his fishing partners. I also don't know the people who are currently running NBW. I’m not going to pass judgment on anyone's character or bash anyone because their actions arnt inline with mine. Its obvious that alot of people like Cory and NBW, in my opinion emotions have flown way beyond what they should have. So that being said, something dawned on my little brain.

...to fight this thing out in court and that is what the TD's that made this decision are counting on. Just stick their collective heads in the sand and we will eventually go away, which is exactly what I hope NBW does. You know who really gets it in the backside here??? WE DO....The anglers that spent money all year to fish for the classic, only to have the rug pulled out from under us the day before the big prize goes up for grabs. The best part of this whole situation is many people will still fish NBW and not even know what they did. Do you really think the average fisherman knows what is going on right now? Only those on this board and those that know qualifiers know what is going on.

Did anyone notice the changes on the NBW website? NO results from last year so we couldn't compare payouts from this year to last year. They were actually less this year than last, and there were MORE boats this year!!! I smell a rat and it all starts with the new owner of NBW and the people running it. It doesnt matter to me and a lot of others because we aren't fishing NBW next year.

For what, 1,300 bucks? Not worth my time in court. Might have a case in this sucky state but not my style. Hollywood, I could take it to small claims court for 100 bucks and pull out their rules and pretty much win from what I've been told by a person in the law business! I will say this though, I will never have anything to do with NBW and any of it's so called owners, EVER!!!! I'll give my dead money to other orgs. I'm not sure if I'm mad at them or myself for thinking they would do the right thing. I never thought I would see a red cent more than I got but thought that they would see the right thing to do since they have tournament rules to follow. Again, great job Cory (and I guess Joe) and good luck in the Stren events. Nothing personal, just business, see ya on the lake.

BTW, I have sent the President and vice prez of NBW a email stating my disapproval of NBW's decission. I won't post it on here but it was not while I was happy. Anyone that's going to fish them anymore, well good luck.

Thank you very much Guy I do appreciate your opinion and I will take the good luck comment by saying thank you again. Everyone that knows me reinforces the facts and congrats me dailly. I am thankful for those people. The fact remains I really work hard at this game and it really does piss someone off when your name is in a negative arena and when your fellow fisherman that I still respect are allowed to paint a picture based on leaked ifalse info and that is a fact!
