I have aquired a Merc prop P/N 48-825940-24 it's a 4 blade 24 pitch. It came with a Merc black cone insert, plug and brass spline coupling. I would like to get the right guts to use it on my 2005 Evinrude 175hp (not E-Tec) engine as a back up. Does anyone know what I need to modify or can someone guide me in the right direction to a prop supplier that can work with me?
Thanks in advance

Ben call Valley Prop in Ventura. They will tell you what you should do or need.

I did not know you could use a merc prop on your motor. Tell me what you need to do for that to happen. I have a couple of props sitting around that I would like to use.

Jordan says that there is an Evinrude hub kit that is made by Mercury that fits Mercury's props. He also said we have in stock. Rick G.
