Oil filters

I am getting ready to change my outboard oil for the year. I have a 40hp 4 stroke mercury and I cannot find any info on the size or part number for a new filter, without first removing it, which I don't want to do for contamination reasons. If anyone knows or knows of something like an online database or something that would be great.
