Thanks GW - Great run event as always
Smooth blastoff, easy weighin, quick awards. Another great job Gary and crew.
Al's wife tells me he's been smiling since he got home! My hands have been shaking since I saw that Big Dog boil 20 feet from the boat striping line... what a day.
We'll see you in a few months at Berryesa... hopefully last to weigh in again!
Best Regards,
Bob Simard

WOW! Bob,
Congrats on the HUGE Bag.
One of those days you'll never forget!
When you take out the 13+, you guys still had an over 6 pound average.
You both did good!

Yeah Seig that's what amazed me too.
Even without that 13+ monster the 6lb average is quite impressive in and of itself.
Nice catches for sure

Thanks Ya'll
Hey Boys,
Yep - Sieg, one of those days... caught a pod of big girls up chewing. First a 6, then 7, then... 13.3 oh my God, then an 8, then a heavy 4... We could have culled the 4 but at that point, I knew we had FU weight and didn't really want to be seen so we left, got close, and started running fresh water and Rejuvenate through the wells...
the old "run-and-gun in Big Fish water and hope they're up" deal.... We did, they were.
When that big fish hit I had the boat moving forward. Al gets bit and just say's "It's big." I honestly thought he had a tail hooked carp she was stripping line so fast heading deep. I got the boat stopped and we ran it down. She boiled 20 feet or so from the boat and I knew she was quality but not until I got the net in water and saw the depth to the fish did my knees start shaking. She was 27 inches long and 22 inches in girth. A Big, Fat girl! Imagine here in 4 months! (She was real lively going back in the water - tore a big gash out of my thumb!)
God I love that Pond!
Regards,
Bob Simard

Wow, great job gentleman, all of you guys. 29+ for second!
I haven't been doing this to long, but it wasn't but a few years ago that 12-15 lb. sacks would win up that way this time of year.
Wonder what your all going to do when this swimbait thing wears out, or will it?
