Anyone have a suggestion for a rod thats good for blindcasting senkos/and could possibly double for other worming techniques?

My C703 is one of the best senko rods out there. The weekender series is $150.00, the co-angler series is $225.00 and the pro series is $350.00

I use the original Kistler Senko Special Kss610. When my Senko bite dies, I tie on Super Hogs and Kreatures. Works great for them as well. I also use it for small jigs every now and then.

Lamiglas Senko Special

Post by Marc »

Be sure to check out the Lamiglas Senko Special. It is in their Certified Pro Series, so it has a lifetime warranty, and it is very versatile.

Excellent also as a worm rod, C-Rig rod, and fishing jigs amongst other uses. It is 7 feet 2 inches in length, and very sensitive, light, and well balanced.

Here's another vote for the Kistler Senko Special. It has just the right flex in the tip to give those Senkos a good flip. Also, something I really like about it is that it has a shorter handle, so that it doesn't catch on your shirt tail when you're flipping. Also, the shorter handle make the 6'10" rod as long as a 7' rod when it comes to the length between the handle and the rod tip.

Loomis GLX or IMX 843 is my favorite senko rod (and it's a great all purpose rod) for pretty much everywhere and I like an 844 for the Delta and Clear Lake.

Loomis MBR843 for 5" Senkos and the MBR844 for 6" and 7" Senkos. The MBR843/844 rods are great for all around t-rigging and jig fish'n...

While I love the Lamiglas "Senko Special", it isn't my first choice for senkos. I do use it for Flip shoting, light texas rigs, spooks, and blades. The Lamiglas "Tournament Frog" Rod is the best Senko Rod I've found. It's the same as the senko special, just 1 power heavier. I have 4 of these. I also use these for casting jigs, Texas rigs, Carolina rigs, Horny toads, Frogs, Buzzbaits(although the 764 is also great for buzzers and blades), and I use this rod durring the spawn seasons for sight fishing.

My $0.02,

i am going to have to vote with bass wrangler and blue. that loomis 843 and 844 is SUPER tought to beat. i own 3- 843. two are imx and one is a gl3. i throw 30 and 40 lb braid with my senkos, delta or lakes, don't matter. and i also got the 844 in a imx...........
.....................BUT.............if i was to marrow it down to one rod i would get the 843 in the IMX series. very light, strong, has a warrenty, and the BIG PLUS it's versitle. i had a blade tied on the rod at clear lake during a club event and boated a 9lb w/ 12lb test.

you will not be sorry with this rod, saLTIE-

Lamiglas XC 705 would be a great choice for you. It works well for blind casting senkos on at least 12# test and it works great as a jig and worm rod also with at least 12# test. It is very light with a lot of power and extremely sensitive, just a great all around rod. Check it out...the 724 senko special is another great all around rod as well! Good luck to you...
