CONGRADULATIONS BEN MATSUBU FOR VERY BIG WIN!!!

Post by Keith Bryan »

Way to go Ben Matsubu for winning the BASS Wildcard event!!!

Powell Pro Staffer Ben Matsubu from Texas ran away with the BASS wildcard event in Florida. Great job and for this win his entry fee’s for the Elite circuit are paid in full, plus, he won a fully rigged boat worth roughly $50K!!!

If you’re not fishing next Saturday am, he'll be on the tube on ESPN.

For the many of you that have been asking which rod Ben Matsubu was using when he won the BASS Wildcard event. It was the 703CB Glass Mod-Fast.

Also-Stay tuned as we will be introducing several new rod models which we are just completing design of.

Congrats to Ben...great job.

I am looking forward to my first Powell (which is on order)...I tried out a Powell one day and was sold immediately. Great balance and sensitivity.
