Seal Skinz Question

Post by JT-Madera »

When you use the sock do you have to buy one size larger shoe? Is it better to buy gloves one size smaller or not..Does the sock require a liner sock..or is it comfortable without the liner..and should I buy the insulated or standard..

Thanx guys

I use the insulated ones and don't wear any thing under them. I do wear a size bigger shoe also. They sure are NICE. You probably wouldn't even have to wear shoes if you didn't want too but I use teni shoes.

When you take them off leave them inside out so that they dry out.

I wear the seal skins socks, with a pair of regular socks under. I wear teva's in the dead of winter and never had a problem...

i would step down one size with the insulated gloves, otherwise the finger tips hit while reeling. worth the money, fast shipping got mine next day

I have read that a light liner under Seal Skinz socks are helpful, but don't have them to try. I am thinking of getting a pair too....

does anyone where wicking socks, e.g. wool, over the Seal Skinz? I have heard that they keep you dry, but are not well insulated. Maybe the other sock over the top would insulate better?
