$5 or $10 per tournament is all I can do right now so if it goes to $20 or more per tournament...I'll have to pass. Dont get me wrong........I'd like to make it more but this is going to be a tight month because I'm probably gonna enter the top stick series, then maybe the ABA at Perris in two weeks, and then Guy and I have our next Perris event in 3 weeks.....AND I was gonna ask you if you wanted to do the ABA at Silverwood in a few weeks....

Like I said....if all you guys want to bump it up....its cool I'll pass.......no harm no foul. I hope you dont though because I want to play fri...

Okay Pete I can kinda see where your coming from.................how about we do this, the first 3 or so will be for like 10 bucks and after you wax us all and are all fat and happy and have a few hundy in your pockets we can bump it up to 20 or 25 bucks a person. I think thats fair for you and the guys who want higher stakes and after those tournaments I'm gonna whoop Jason Akins, Mitch, and Jason Chang and whoever wants to stay and play no limit.

I didnt mean to be the party pooper. You know I'm down most all the time for whatever stakes you want.

Here will be the tournament structure..........

$10 buy in

1 or 2 tables depending on how many players show up.
I'll be bringing my table and chips AND Mike will have his table and chips as well.
If we have 14 guys we will put everyones name in a hat and randomly draw out the names for table and seat positions. (for example 7 on each table)
As soon as the 2 tables can be condensed into one table with 8-9 players, they will be. (we will want to keep it comfortable..i.e.elbow room).

Depending on how many players we get total will determine how many spots we pay out.....FOR SURE IT WILL BE TOP 2...maybe 3......we will figure that out once we find out how many we have.
EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE THERE BY 6PM....

50-60 chips PER PERSON .....Everyone gets the same amount of starting chips. The chips wont have a denomination...they will all be the same. 1 chip = 1 chip.

NO LIMIT HOLDEM.........
Once you lose all your chips...YOUR OUT....its to the pool table for your sorryass....or its off to make ME a SAMICH.

NO REBUYS.....You have to wait until the next tournament starts. We want to do at least 3 tournaments so thats why we only get 50-60 chips to start.
Blinds will go up everytime around AND when a player is eliminated from the tournament. The blinds will be the same on each table...so sometimes the blinds will go up on consecutive hands if players are knocked out back to back etc...Once it is heads up..the blinds will go up FAST!!!!

An example of the payout........
if there are 14 people at $10 each. Total pot will be $140.

Payout will probably be something like-

1st- $100
2nd- $40 or

1st- $90
2nd- $30
3rd- $20 we will vote on it just before we start......but FORSURE it will be AT LEAST 1st and 2nd.

We might be getting about 16-18 players so it should be a pretty good payout.....
Remember its .......NO LIMIT........

If there is a problem (which there WONT be) at either table...Mike is the PIT DONKEY and his word is final. This is Basic Holdem..just like on TV so there shouldnt be any problems. But at the same time remember..... THIS ISN'T THE FREAKING WORLD SERIES OF POKER its poker at Phuas so lighten the hell up and have a good time.
Each tournament should only take about an hour and a half or so....
Hopefully. Remember we will play at least 3 tournaments depending on time, then we will have a higher stakes tournament towards the end of the night. Also if you bust out of the tournament feel free to play a cash game with whoever on the side...just remember that it will have to end before the NEXT tounrmanet starts......

If I get knocked out of the tournament (which I wont) I'll be taking someones dough on the side.

That should answer most of the questions......

As far as other people playing.......Basically Mike said if he doesnt know them he'd rather not open his home to guys he doesnt know....Thats completely understandable ....
I personally wouldnt let someone I didnt know into my crib either. At the same time..I wouldnt want to go into someones home where I didnt know anybody...but thats just me.
Mike wants this to be guys he actually knows personally. His wife is gonna be there too and she also doesnt want people that Mike doesnt know walking around the pad...

All I can say is if someone doesnt know Mike, then they should get to know that big donkey first then maybe they can come to the next poker night.

Show up around 5 and we will play a little NO LIMIT heads up action.....we'll be done in plenty of time to start the main tournament because it will only take me a little while to bust you up and take your bank roll.
