Horrible Weekend
Hunted 2 1/2 days with 3 dudes and only got 1 Hen GW and 1 dove. It sucked. Didn't even see birds flying high. Have no clue where there at! Hopfully somebody did well. Let me know
I love huntin cause I love going deep into the bush and I always shoot twice!!

Re: Horrible Weekend
I also had a horrible weekend and I also hunt distrit 108. My morning started by loosing my best friend by some nut driving south, down Pound Stone Road, about a quarter mile off Tule Road, going 50 miles per hour -- hits my dog (who was only two years old) while speeding betreen two trucks that were parked on Pound Stone Road. Our lights were on getting ready to go hunting. He was hit so hard he flew down the road 50 feet. As I ran towards him, I was hoping it was not my best friend, but it was. His cut up Mad Dog suit . . . I knew it was him. By this time the *** driving to fast gets turned around (200 yards down the road) and comes back while I am on my knees holding on to my friend. The driver of the dodge truck pulls up and tells me he is sorry but he did not see him. At this time the hunter acoss the road is yelling at the *** in the truck for driving so fast. During this time, I am trying to pick up my lifeless dog and carry him back to his truck. With my friend in my arms, I walked back to my truck. The driver of the truck asked me if he could help in any way. I repled with choice words and told him to please leave me alone. After laying my dog in the back seat and knowing this could have been avoided by leaving him in his kennel or in the back seat of the truck (where he road most of the time) or even used one of the two leashes in the truck. I totaly am to blame for his death and not the driver of the truck and I will never forget the fun and enjoyment I had with my friend Cache.
Re: Horrible Weekend
That is a terrible thing, I think its as much the driver for driving like a bat outta hell in the dark at 6 in the morning. I have to park on Browning/White Road and guys fly down that road. Sorry to hear about your friend...
