Tony Romo

Post by Sean Graf »

From www.nfl.com: Based on the numbers from his five starts, Romo would be on pace to finish a full season with 4,400-plus passing yards and 32 touchdowns.

And not from www.nfl.com: This guy is gonna do some damage! He looks like he's been doing this his entire life. Will we see a crappy performance anytime soon? I say he runs the table and the Cowboys go FAR!!

Of course the entire team needs to play well and stay healthy.

It's gonna be a big game situation for Romo this Sunday against the Giants, his first real test! If the Cowboy win, it will only make this kid feel as if he's the ruler of all....

That's my "BOY" there!!! I think this may go down in history as one of Bill Parcells finest moments. Benches Bledsoe in favor of a back up that has been with the team for some time. He was also a "Fan Pick" as well. Look at how good Harrington has been doing for the Dolphins as of recent. I was thinking since they'd picked up Culpepper they'd be HOT!! :?

GO COWBOYS!!!!!!!!!!! 8) 8) 8)

Was at Texas Stadium when Aikman went down with that final career-ending concussion.

BTW - if you're ever in Irving / Dallas, the best 5 bucks you can spend is the Texas Stadium tour on non-gamedays. You get to go in the locker room, walk up the tunnel, go on the field. I even kicked a field goal! I'm sure it'll change when they move to Arlington, but for now - awesome!

We were down-and-out for a long time. We're back. And while Tony Romo was certainly the catalyst, this TEAM is solid! Man I thought I was going to shat a kitten with 6 seconds left and another game in the hands of our kicker.... how many times have we found a way to loose those games?

NOT THIS TEAM! And with Chicago and Seattle's lame a$$ offense... I'm feeling pretty confident. We'll loose one maybe, MAYBE 2 of the 4 left, but will finish up strong. And this team don't need no stickin bye week. I'm lovin it!

We shall see,

While unfortunate due to the Saint's position in the standings - as it relates to the number 2 spot in the NFC and the first round bye, that was a "good" loss for the team.

They weren't going to win out - this isn't the Cowboys from the mid 90s. A loss now gives them plenty of time to recover and regain confidence (versus one that might have happened against a weak team - again, they weren't going to win out.) Further, to get humiliated like that at home on National TV is a great motivator to get them up for Atlanta - another playoff hopefull.

We win a close one next week while Philly knocks of NY. We win the remainder, and still win the division - going in to the playoffs strong. Worse case, we'll still go in as a wildcard.

By the way - Dan Mariono's an idiot. MYOPIC? Tony Romo took us to first place in the division. Shortsighted? Don't think so....

Next time you're cracking open a dictionary, look up Delusional. You'll see a picture of an drunken idiot, albiet a giant man, with one side of his face painted Silver and the other black wearing a modified helmet - some sort of skull mounted on it, frothing at the mouth screaming obscenities. The caption underneath reads "Raider Fan at a Preseason Game"....

War Cowboys!

ta do with me being a Raider fan. You just been waiting fer someone ta pick on! Bully!

Bottom line is, the whole Friggen world who loves ta jump on this "America's Team" Dallas Cowboy band wagon, (Who the F&%$ made them "America's Team" any how?) thinks he is the Motts and gonna be what wins them the Superbowl this year. I'm only calling it as I see it, just like you. Everybody, media, TV analyst, the bandwagon Cowboy fans, the loyal fans, they all jumped in and made Romo the Savior. The Saints simply exploited the weekenesses of that team, now ya hear nothing about the Cowboys and Romo the Savior. He's a young kid, looks like he'll be a fine QB down the road. I'll bet ya Vince Young gits to the Super Bowl before Romo does with the Cowboys!

Dallas has got a very nice, young team right now. Parcells is a prooven coach that developes winners. If he stays, it WILL eventually happen again for Dallas. But not this year, ya can see it in Parcels face, all week man, he's a tired beat up puppy right now. His interviews have been very intriguing ta watch this week.

P.Manning is another story, until Indy get's a defense, he's just a stats magician, and is not capable of getting the Colts to the Super bowl on his own. History proves this my friend. Put Romo on the Bears, they win it all, with Dallas, yer looking into the future, not this year!
