Sorry to hear that Jame's.I hear it some time's here in Monterey to.I do work for a wholesale plumbing supply,Ferguson,so if your interested i may be able to save you a buck or two on the tool's if you are going to replace them.

We are a distributor for Ridgid,Milwaukee and Dewalt among other's and i can sell them at our cost.

Unfortunatly none of my plumber's have ever recovered there tool's.

Be sure to check Roseville Auction this weekend.

I had some tools ripped off last year and I know how it is. I had everything marked with my DL# and still no recourse.

Good Luck

The one by the post office was Wild Flower. Rick started it and I took over 1/2 way through.

No, I've been in either Brentwood, Oakley and Disco for the last 4 years. It's been nice, since I live in Oakley.

Its a sad thing, I'm a salesman for White Cap in Livermore and every week we have contractors coming in to replace their stolen tools, I've worked there for 2 years now and we have only caught 4 people that tried to buy (steal) tools on accounts, we require a driver license on every power tool purchase and also record the serial number, usally when we ask for their driver's license they take off, then we call LPD to try and catch them before they get out of town. Its a sad thing.

James. my fishing partner is building a new shopping center in Brentwood ( he is the owner) I will ask him to pass this message to the contractors working at the site. Might be they would show up down there. I will say that all the stuff I had stolen when I was in the contracting business never turned up. Even stuff like water blasters and compressors. Good luck pal.

Be careful , some of these slim bags will wait for you to purchase all new equipment and then hit you again , and maybe a third time .

I went to a job I had going over by Arden Fair Mall a couple months ago and the parking lot was flooded with water. Now mind you its the middle of Aug and 100 outside. The contractor tells me they stole all the copper pipes over the weekend. They took the stuff and the water was even on when they did it. They tried to get some of the electrical wire and my fire alarm cable but ether got scared off or decided it was not worth it.
After that I started saving all my scrap wire from jobs to recycle. Not sure what I will get because I don't have enough to make it worth the trip but last time I checked jacketed copper was 90 cents a pound, not bad.

Sad but true, I work for a local school district in Sac, we've had 17 School sites hit with Copper theft adding up to many thousands of dollars lost. Who pays, we all pay with Tax Payers Money. By the way where would someone Recycle alot of Copper ($4+ a pound) without being noticed...
Keep an eye out.

Concerned

They should go after that recycler because they'er the one buying all those stolen goods. Come up with a way that they are accountable for all the copper they buy and seller.
