Congrats Bro.....

Post by Pete Marino »

I found out earlier today when Brian sent me an email and told me the news.
My advice to Brian is this......raise my baby as you would if it were your own. That burning feeling in your gut is just your pride fading away. It will be okay bro. Whats done is done...You werent able to do the deed so I had to step in and get the job done for you...but its all good.. You'll be a great stepdad. I have complete confidence that you will raise my child with good morals and the utmost respect for others.

Seriously though...Congrats Bro.

talk to ya later...

Brian, Congrats to you and Betina. Now you will know what it's like to be broke.

Everytime I look at Hailee and she smiles at me it costs me.

I hope you guys have a wonderful Christmas.

Congrats - when's the big tackle sale? That is, since you won't be needing it very often now [as in allowed to go ;-)].

Funny thing is, I'm moving 15 miles from DVL and know I'll probably be fishing more. I'm blessed. My wife likes having her own free time.

The thing that's freaking me out is the whole delivery room scene. I'll probably pass out!

Thanks again for all of the encouragement guys. It really means a lot.

Merry Christmas to all!!!

I can't believe how much that area has grown in the last 5 years. It was nothing but desert when I used to go out there to play the 1 golf course they had. Now they have probably 50 golf courses, a little lake called DVL and some good wineries too! Plus 50,000 houses! Crazy.

My sister and her family live in Canyon Lake not far from there, I'll be there over the holidays!

Again - congrats on the new addition to the family!! Forget Kevin - I hope the baby looks like your wife... haven't seen her myself, but I am sure its a huge improvement from the two of you! ha ha ha

Brian & Betina way to go. Anyone can have a child but it takes a man & woman to be parents. I know you will succeed. Brian if your baby is a boy , the greatest thing you can do is tell your doctor you want to cut your son's cord. I did it, wow what an experience. You will never forget it if you do. Christmas next year will be your greatest to date. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year...Mike Goodwin

Just remember it's a fine line between family and fishing and with any hope we can all balance it out in our hecktic lives. Again congrats on the news and like they have been saying there is nothing that compares to your first born. What a miricle of life it is to watch something you both created be brought into this world.
Words of advice from one proud dad to another get all the sleep and fishing you can in the next 9 month because after that you will have to pick and choose. Family or fishing???
Congrats
