Whats you input on the 332 vs the 334?
I hear the Lowrance 334 with the internal GPS is giving some poeple issuses.
Also, does anyone know a good place to buy these online? They are discontinued now so I'm sure their is some obscure online retailer out there with a great deal. Cabela's has the 334 with the transom transducer for $50 off but not the 332.
btw, what do you think about transome transducers vs shoot through?
Thank you for your input in advance
Lowrance 332 or 334?
Re: Lowrance 332 or 334?
i have a 334 igps Brandon..The thing I just found out is with an internal antena the unit won't network gps to another without an antena with gps capabilities. What I am saying is if you have this unit on your console you can not buy say the new X27c without the two hundred dollar antena and get the gps info from the 334 iGPS. But you could from the 332...By the way they are now the LMS-520 and 522iGPS..the difference is they now have a 5-pin Ethernet expansion port...
As for the shoot through compared to the transom...They work the same, but the transom is much easier to change when the transducer wears out.

What's an Ethernet port? Forgive me, my kids are all gone, so I'm lost.

B,
Hit up one of the ISE shows coming soon. Last year I saved a bunch -tax free - and got the 332c and the 102c - Happy all the way around with these products. I got a good tutoring as well and you get the whole product run down. I would check it out. I went with the Transom transducer with no problems yet...
Good luck,
Kap

I'm really happy with my unit.
