Look at lureparts online. Don't pour anything but buy rubber & jig heads

Re: Pouring plastics
I haven't poured for a couple of years. It is an addictive hobby. I found myself with WAY too many baits! Try Basstackle.com, M-Fmanufacturing and Baitjunkies.com. I have a bunch of molds that I could be talked into getting rid of...

www.jannsnetcraft.com is also a great source for all things luremaking. Contact them and they will mail you a free catalog. Been using them for years.
Re: Pouring plastics
Hand pours or injection mold, require very different equipment. Hand pour simple straight tail style worms can be done silicone molds, worm or creatures with thin flappers or detailed features require injection aluminum molds.
God sources for both have been suggested.

Re: Pouring plastics
I used to open pour my own for years. Worms, trailers, and creatures. And a few that I "Created", lol. It can be fun and relaxing. I tried different plastics and found MF plastic to be the best. I used a Micro-Wave to heat up a cup at a time then set the cup (Pyrex) on an electric grill to keep it warm. Got pretty good, especially with tri color worms and grubs. Best thing is, they caught fish !! Be sure that you have plenty of ventilation and I used candy thermometers to keep an eye on the temp. I had a Pour Pot also, bet you really have to watch the temp as you use it or it will burn the plastic as it gets emptier. The Silicone molds are very easy to work with. But I made many molds of my own using a quick drying Fix All product. Never did andy Injection baits, the molds and injector are expensive. Have fun, and be sure to WRITE DOWN your "Recipes" !!!
