July 15th, 2012 at Russo's Marina on the Delta, marks the 15th Year of the C.O Pro-Teen Classic, Don't miss out on this one! Registration for this year's event is now open. Both Boaters and Teens can proceede to the Pro-Teen pages on the right side bar and get signed up.
The COPTC is an event that introduces teens to bass fishing via a full blown tournament style event. Kids ages 13-19 only, are eligible to fish. To participate as one of our Pro Boaters, you just have ta have a Bassboat, carry boater insurance, be familure with the Delta, love the sport and are willing to spend a 1/2 day on the water fishing with a kid. We cover your day's launch and will feed you and any family members you bring. We also provide "vallet" parking to get ya in and out of the water.
This is an amazing day where we work with, meet the kids and their parents, introducing them to the sport and our sponsors. Past notable participants include The Bennet brothers, Justin Lucas, Sean Alarid(1st BASS Jr Bassmaster World Champion), John Bilhiemer, Ryan Thoni and a host of other kids making their way into tournament fishing. Over the years we have seen our teens too, grow the sport. Our Delta Teen Team Club led the way almost 10 years ago. Over the past few years, we 've seen our anglers joining and participating in College, and now High School clubs and events. We even have a group of teens now, who are giving back and participating as boaters for this event. We like ta think, our program with this event is special and IS working.
