Procraft super pro boats

Post by gomester »

I am looking for a new (new to me anyways) used boat. One that came up is a procraft superpro 20 ft with 200 optimax. Does anybody have any information or opinions on Procraft superpro's? I am looking for first-hand experience on what people think of these boats in comparision to a Skeeter or Ranger. Are they worth it or just outright a waste.
Thanks in advance for your time and opinions.

I have a friend with one and he likes it. I read that there will be no more Procraft brand after this year so that might be a consideration on resale.

I have the 200 super pro and love mine its a great boat ,my brother also has the 210 super pro and loves it , theyre well built and they have everything I could ask for, they also has alot of the little subtle things that alot of the higher end boats feature. . For the price you cant beat em.

Thanks for sharing. But what about ride, stability, etc compared to a Ranger or Skeeter? Any ideas? I am referring to ride in rough water such as clear lake or delta in main river or runnin across frank's tract.
thanks,
tim

Mine handles rough water very well, They have a little deeper hull making them good in rough water, The stabilty is great also. The flatter hulled boats like a skeeter or nitro are problably a little more stable but the difference isnt huge. I have no complaints with my procraft, You could ask me any question about it and Ill probably come back with a positive answer. If I was a rich man and had to buy a boat yah Id problably take a Champion or a Ranger but if you dont want to break the bank Procraft is certainly the way to go. Buy one and you wont regret it.
