Protest in WA on coronavirus fishing closure

RICHLAND, Wash. -- Protesters in boats and on shore Saturday demanded that restrictions on recreational fishing and shellfish harvesting in Washington because of the coronavirus be lifted.

About 50 boats along with several hundred protesters on shore gathered on Saturday around Columbia Point Marina in Richland in southwestern Washington.

I'm sure those people are passionate, but they are a small percentage of the over 7.5 million people who live in Washington State.
The State is looking out for the many, not the few.

onxe again Mark you speak without knowing the facts.

The stare of WA did not close all waterways to ALL.

Pleasure boating, kayaking, and watercrafting is still allowed, but fisherman cannot put their boats in the water and fish.So Im not sure your opinion is correct. Dan
