QUESTION “A-RIG”

Just curious on how many wires you can have in California. It’s clear that you can have only “3” baits w/hooks, but not so clear on how many total wires. I have been told “5” wires is the limit in Cali but I see a lot of rigs w/6-8 wires. Does anyone know the FACTS? Thanks

As many wires as you want.Only 3 can have hooks but each can have multiple hooks.8 wire rig is very popular.

I believe 5 wire max is a rule when fishing certain tournament organizations.
