I won a $100 certificate to fish a WON bass tourney. I want to use it to fish the McClure tournament on the 19th of May. I tried emailing the director for the motherload division but have not heard back yet. I'm sure he will get back to me but I thought it might be faster to post my questions here.
Questions:
Do I have to pay membership fees to fish this one tourney?
Do I have to register ahead of time or can I pay the fees that morning?
Is there a late fee if I pay the morning of?
Also, I've never fished a real tourney like this...is there anything I should know going in that is not in the rules.
Thanks

Re: Question: WON Bass
It might be faster if you call the region's tournament director, John Liechty 209-743-9932
This is what was listed on the WON Bass website.
Hope this helps.

Re: Question: WON Bass
Did you get that certificate in the mail? I won one as well and have nothing but some emails.
Re: Question: WON Bass
Just show up that morning and there is no membership required if you won some sort of a certificate. We do not have many comps, if any, in our team events this year, so the TD's may not even know how to handle a free entry as it's not something they deal with very often.
Billy Egan is at our Pro Am at Lake Roosevelt, so just print out this post and bring it along with your entry, I'm sure you will get the special VIP, guest treatment from John. He's working hard to try to grow his region and I am sure he will be happy to have you there. Have fun and good luck !

tbob,
It's not a free entry...it is $100 certificate. I believe that I read on your website that it is $150 for entry and then more if you want to get in the Big Fish option for team tourneys. But I will go to your site right now and see what it says.
Thanks for the help!
