Next Sunday is Easter, yesterday was Palm Sunday.

Questions on Palm Sunday- Jesus announces his 'kingship'.

As our pastor read in Matthew yesterday, it said Jesus came into Jerusalem after three years of keeping his ministry on the 'hush' (he'd heal folks and tell them to keep it quiet, he kept saying 'it's not my time' yet), but now he and his disciples are welcomed by this big parade into the temple in Jerusalem from the mount of Olives, about a 1/2 mile long route (been there). The folks threw down their coats and palm leaves in front of Jesus and the donkey in reverence and sang praises.

Question #1- for 100 points: he rode in on a donkey, what's the significance?
