Rattlesnake Bar Ramp Question

Post by fish_food »

I've only fished Folsom in the early spring, before the lake turns into a zoo but I was wondering how the ramp is at Rattlesnake this time of the year. Is it popular amongst the pleasure boaters and is it as busy as the ramps on the lower end of Folsom?

If I were to Fish Folsom this time of year it would be the only ramp I would use.

You have to be freaking crazy to go out on Folsom May - Oct.

At least at Rattlesnake you can make a quik left and be to the five mph in no-time and get some peace.

As for the launch itself !!! It is not the best at times not open on time and tha ramp may be four feet out in the lake etc. but itserves it's purpose. Yes some lice and ski/ boarders do launch there on the weekends.
Four Decades of Red!!!!!!!!

When in Doubt Set the Hook!!!

Yea, I know. It's more of an afterthought for the occasions I may have a few hours free and don't feel like driving very far (such as the occasional evening trip, for example). I would never even think about launching at Folsom during peak weekend times!
