reel recomendation?

Post by Morgan »

I'm looking for a baitcaster for slinging Pop-Rs. So something that spins easily but I've had reels that are smaller but my thumb is too wide. Any ideas?

Shimano curado
Old green reel 200 or 201 if left hand retrieve
Have bearings upgraded at reelex
Cast a country mile. You won’t believe it until you try the bearings

My Abu Garcia Revo MGX is a casting demon for lighter baits. It is light, easy to palm and has a wide spool and somewhat shallower spool than other lines which is great, especially for fluorocarbon. I use it to cast weightless baits, dropshot, pop'r etc... it just sings.
