The first step on the road to the 2019 Future Pro Tour Classic Championship begins this weekend with Lake Berryessa, as over 100 of the best amateur teams in the west will converge on one of the most fertile lakes in the beautiful Napa Valley.

For at the end of this season's journey, those that dare to challenge their skills on SEVEN completely different bodies of water, will receive for their efforts, the opportunity to win the keys to a new Nitro Z18/Mercury package, expertly rigged by Gone Fishin Marine of Dixon, and gain the honor of being declared the best amateur team in the west!

No "Zip-Code" or "One-Lake" wonders

No "one-lake wonders" or "zip-code" champions here, only 100 of the best qualifying teams willing to test their skills against the best, in the most challenging and diverse venues possible as the 2019 Classic Championship event will be held for the first 2 days on the California delta, and on the final day, "Lake X" - which will not be revealed until the conclusion of the season.

The "best in the west" for 2018 were Classic champions Kevin Hooper and Jake Arbuckle who caimed last year's prize boat from Gone Fishin Marine in Dixon!

It's not too late to get signed up as you can do it online or this Saturday starting at 4am at Pleasure Cove Marina, where limited membership fees of just $10 will be available to those that can only fish one event or simply wish to try out the FPT.

We look forward to seeing you all there!
