Rod Locker Options for Bass Tracker?
I own a 2004 Bass Tracker 185 model. The rod locker storage consists of laying the rods in the storage bin on top of each other. The problem is the rods all stick through about a 5" x 5" square hole. So, about 4 feet of the rods is exposed, while the rest slides through the 5" square hole and is out of sight. Once you stick about 4 or 5 rods in there, when you try and pull one out....you're going to pull them all out. I have busted 2 rods already...one because I yanked on it without thinking and the other even after trying to be careful. There are no accessories apparently offered by Tracker. Any suggestions? Am I left to cutting the hole a little bigger? Thanks for the help.

Get some rod socks for your rods. It will keep them from hanging up on eachother. BassProShops has them and I got some from Cabela's too. They're nylon with an elastic strap that goes around the reel to keep it snug. Works really well. MT

You can also get some rod socks from Put A Sock On it. They are a supporter of our Rally's. so give them a try. www.putasockonit.biz
