Rule Infraction Results in Loss Fish Penalty for Aaron Britt[
Rule Infraction – During competition, angler Aaron Britt incurred a lost fish penalty for a violation of Rule 23 (Life Jacket Requirement). While attempting to retrieve a fish hooked deep within a hyacinth mat, Britt started his outboard engine to gain access to the fish but failed to put on his life jacket before doing so.
Although the action was not deemed intentional, the violation occurred during the capture of a bass. Upon discovery, BAM officials determined the most appropriate course of action was to disallow the fish from being weighed. The bass was released immediately, and the penalty was applied in accordance with tournament rules to maintain fairness and safety for all competitors.
BAM reminds all anglers that safety remains the top priority, and adherence to all tournament rules is essential to ensure the integrity of competition.

There has been a comment or maybe two on the last couple of these infractions but we think if they hadn't of enforced the rule (even if it seems minor) then you have to assume they pick and choose which ones to enforce... and in the end if its a rule that seems like it shouldn't be enforced, why have it as a rule?
