Re: School me on float tubes
Yeah, I would fold down my waders so I could fill them with water. I'm giving tips to the person who's asking.

Re: School me on float tubes
I strongly recommend a float tube over a kick boat. You can stand up to pee or fold down your waders and commence from a sitting position. Just don't hit your reels. It's not a problem.

Re: School me on float tubes
I've used float tubes for 16 years on the delta and a couple local lakes. Classic accessories makes a good tube called the cumberland. Keeps you sitting up high and has thick padded seat/backrest. About $200 give or take a little. It's great for getting in between docks and shallow islands in the de...

Re: Favorite Drop Shot Baits
I like the Zoom Z-drop, trick worm, roboworm, shad shape and have even used smallie beavers and tiny brush hogs. I use the trick worm in the spring time in the delta. One of the most consistent numbers bait for me for some time now. I use it mostly vertically even in shallow water all over the delta...

Re: BEST BUZZBAIT??
Nobody mentioned a buzzbait with a triple wing or even quad wing. It can be fished slower, if needed, and throws a lot of bubbles in its wake. I don't fish with anything else, they get on top immediately. They're harder to locate but worth it. You can clip them to a room fan in the garage to increas...

Re: Any belly boat/kick boaters out there
I've been float tubin the delta for thirteen years. Still love it and I was out last night. I don't belong to a club, just fish with my brother and buddies that are into it. Just fun fishing in lots of dead end sloughs or 5mph areas mostly, (sevenmile, sandmound, taylor, whites, piper etc.). I usual...
