Going for LMB, SMB, and the lady will go for trout. I generally fish stained water so going gin clear is a bit different for me. What do you recomend?

I think I am going to go for it, saving 60 bucks on a new bait caster sounds good to me.

What patterns do you guys use in general?

I am in SF too. I work downtown and try to get out to the small lakes in the area every other weekend. Glad to know that there is a club and other bassers in this City. I will do my best to make it out to the shop.

You know how one the road to Lake Tullock from Modesto there is that body of water between the two damn on the left hand side as you approach the Lake? Are there fish in there? If so what kind?
