Re: Has This Happened to anyone else on the Delta????
Wow!! great story, this is too funny. I've never heard of them coming that close to a bass boat. The closest I've seen them is about 15 feet eating stripers and catfish. Was he on the front with you or the back? I wouldn't know what to do and with my luck I would have gave him the tap on the nose an...

Re: Looking to join a bass club
You may also look at Elk Grove Bass Club. Don't know if they are taking on new members now, as they just started a new season but it never hurts to check. They have a site, www.elkgrovebass.com and I believe they are BASS affiliated.

Re: Posting reports
Yes it was pre-fish and we only boated 2 bass and 1 was a nice keeper on a dropshot leech, although things can change as quickly as they develop. I'm totally green to tourney fishing, I'm joining San Joaquin team bass and fishing my first tournament ever @ McClure on the 21st. Only been to McClure o...

Posting reports
With the 100% tourney @ McClure on Sunday with around 80 boats and about 70 limits, no one posted a report?? What's up with that? I was there fishin and thought I'd see what I was doing wrong when some people posted reports later in the week, wrong!! I admit I don't report every time out but, when I...

Re: A Boy's first fishing trip
Nice job Jeff, that's the way it should be. That will be something he'll never forget, and once he becomes a full fledged basser, he'll pass it on like we all do.

I knew they would eat them, and have seen it on tv, just thought it was really cool to get to see it up close!

Largemouth eating Stripers
If I didn't see it myself I wouldn't have believed it. We were on the Delta yesterday and my buddy's throwing a jerkbait and a small striper hits it, 6" or so. As he gets it to the boat, a 6 pounder grabs the little guy, during the struggle the striper gets away and the bass gets the rear trebl...

Motor RPM Question
How close to the manufacturer's suggested RPM limit do you usually run your boat? I have an '02 Merc 4 stroke 75 hp and it is suggested not to run past 5200 rpm's. Just wondering how close to that I can run without damaging anything. Thanks for the replies

Re: Catch and Release photos only in photo Section
I am the one who caught the fish in question. This is a classic example of jumping to a conclusion because of the overpass in the back ground. Believe it or not I caught that fish less than 2 minutes from that dock. I didn't have my digital cam with me and had my wife deliver it to me at the dock. L...
