Re: Delta
I did very well on the delta this weekend. On Saturday, some friends and I fished Sugar Barge/Frank's. I searched isolated tullies near deeper channels and caught 4 fish between 2-3 lbs. I was pretty confident in the pattern, but every fish was pretty cookie cutter. After that, I went looking for do...

Great video!
I launched today out of Sugar Barge and caught 4 or 5. Every fish was in 7-9 feet of water and they'd only bite a squarebill .

Re: Delta water clearity
I hit Berryessa this weekend. Channels were chocolate milk, but the main lake had great clarity. Crushed em for most of the day, though not much size. Biggest was a 3ish lb smally.

We've decided on Big Break. Appreciate the insight!
Went out for about 3 hours today and stuck 4. No scale on me, but one was on the higher end of 3-4lbs. Others were relatively tiny.

Launching a yak in the Delta
Hey folks, My wife and I recently picked up a couple of Hobie yaks and wanted to try delta fishing for the first time. Where do you recommend us launching from so we don't have to travel too far to get into some decent spots? I know Frank's and Big Break don't have any launches nearby (to my knowled...

Re: Anyone have advice for Delta Stripers?
It won't. It was 105 when we went out. The morning was tough. We caught the majority of our fish between 3PM and 530PM. The afternoon bite is really strong. We struggled with everything but crankbaits, but we're not very experienced with swimbaits. Fish along the rock wall in Sherman. There's a nice...

Re: Anyone have advice for Delta Stripers?
Bit late to this, but I can confirm that Sherman Lake is fantastic right now. Went out this past weekend and boated 13 fish over an hour and a half.
First time targeting stripers and it was an absolute blast.
